Hi All! My name is Veronica Buckwalter and I am a custom needlework finisher. I have a Home Economic and Art background. For several years I designed and made costumes for local community theatres and schools while also running a balloon décor business.

Using the design and color theory I learned working with costumes and balloon décor I am able to create custom finishes for needlework pieces.

When talking with other stitchers, I tel them to think outside the box ~ encouraging them to explore the use of color, texture, fibers and to use unique finishes for their needlework. I am a gadget person. I love researching and trying new products, finding things that made needlework fun, easy and organized.

While living in Royersford, Pennsylvania with my husband and 4 grown children, I enjoy teaching my 3 young granddaughters how to stitch and encourage them to be creative.

I do finishing for cross stitch designer Colleen Leader of Follow The Leader Designs and Loose Thread Stitchers as well as a few local shops. I have finished pieces published in The Gift Of Stitching Magazine, Just Cross Stitch Ornament Edition and Just Cross Stitch Magazine. I recently did the finished design for the SYHO Designer Encyclopedia, a compilation of 12 designs by 12 industry leading designers over the next 12 months.

Although I am a needlework finisher, I also do other types of sewing. Recently, I made custom pin cushions for Lonni Rossi ~ fabric designer for Andover Fabrics. I am available for many different types of sewing ~ alterations, mending, etc.
